The Matthew Christopher "Metropolitan" wedding dress is a gorgeous, sophisticated gown perfect for a fall or winter wedding. The material is 100% silk, pintucked from tip to toe, with intricate crystal and embroidery detailing throughout. A line of sparkling crystal buttons flow down the spine and onto the brief sweep train, which can be lifted into a bustle.
Note that two crystal buttons are missing, near the bottom of the train. See picture. Also please note - the side view picture is not mine, it is from the Internet.
This dress is a bridal size 10, which equates to about a 6 or 8 regular dress size. I wore the dress for the pictures, but I wear a size 2 dress, so I don't do the beautiful A line contour justice.
The dress has never been worn to an event and has never been altered. After purchase, it was professionally cleaned and packaged. I only took it out in order to photograph it. Please give this dress a good home--it is too beautiful to continue to sit in my closet!
